Nutri Ninja Educational Game

Nutri Ninja Educational Game

Nutri Ninja Educational Game App is a free-to-play game developed for iOS and Android for Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. This educational game is based on the adventure concept where players will need to actually walk physically in order to progress in the game. The technology used to capture a player’s walking movement into a step in the game is accelerometers in mobile phones, which are used to detect the orientation of the phone.

A great ninja who cut fruits using his sword was given a mission by his Master. As the ninja’s knowledge about food is limited to fruits only, the Master asked the ninja to take on an adventure to travel the world and try to recognize other types of food consisting of carbohydrates, vegetables, fruits, protein, and fat. This game has four different stages and it represents the four levels of food in the Malaysian Food Pyramid. It is hoped that the players, especially children will have a more active lifestyle and broaden their knowledge about food & its nutrition. The game can be downloaded from Playstore & Appstore.
