Lab In Our Pocket is an IOT & AR Apps that helps engineers keep important facilities running. View and interpret plant readings in real-time with full schematics, in graphs, or in tabulated form. Together with VISI (an engineering systems developer and integrator) and PETRONAS, we’ve produced a mobile app with in-depth feedback on various pump systems, indicators for pump components, and more. Engineers and Plant Supervisors may no longer need to be on-site, and they are able to view the real-time health of their plant anywhere and anytime from their smartphone.

The app is combined with the Augmented Reality (AR) features to enable the user to scan a piece of equipment and view its interactive 3D model for easy reference and a better understanding of that equipment. This proved to be useful when an engineer needs to do an assessment or check on a particular piece of equipment especially on information such as how it works, when is the last date of service, how to do quick repair/troubleshoot certain issues, the total maintenance cost, and et. Why bring the bulky manual book of reference files to the site when all they need is just a mobile app with Lab In Our Pocket installed and a good internet connection will do.
